While genetic expectations suggest impressive potency, early sample data from the Psilocybin Cup revealed surprisingly lower tryptamine levels, averaging only 0.41%.

Despite this, Chodewave holds promise as an intriguing strain with the potential for higher potency under optimal growing conditions. The mother strains, Albino Penis Envy and Tidal Wave, are well-known for their high psilocybin content, suggesting that Chodewave could achieve similar potency levels if cultivated carefully. Albino Penis Envy produces an average psilocybin content of 0.97%, and Tidal Wave has an average psilocybin level of 0.83%. Both of these strains are capable of producing much higher levels when grown in ideal conditions.
