Jedi Mind Fuck shrooms are not particularly potent compared to the average variety of Psilocybe cubensis.

Oakland Hyphae hosts The Psilocybin Cup every year, where cultivators enter the magic mushrooms they’ve grown to be sent for high-efficiency testing and ranked by potency. JMF notoriously scores pretty poorly in these competitions.

So far, four samples have been tested — resulting in an average psilocybin and psilocin content of just 0.50% and 0.04%, respectively. The total tryptamine concentration average is 0.64%.

For reference, we consider the average for Psilocybe cubensis to fall somewhere between 0.5% and 0.9%.
